SPOKANE, Wash. — A Spokane insurance agency has received $10,000 to combat child hunger after community members rallied online to double an initial donation through a national awards program.
All Lines Insurance officially awarded the $10,000 donation to Second Harvest Inland Northwest on Sunday, funding that will provide weekend meal kits to 100 children for an entire year.
The insurance agency initially received $5,000 through the Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance 2025 Make More Happen Awards program.
After their story appeared on the Make More Happen microsite, community members cast more than 500 votes and comments, triggering a matching donation that brought the total to $10,000.
All Lines Insurance employees regularly support Second Harvest’s Bite2Go school program, which ensures children facing food insecurity receive healthy meals on weekends. The agency’s team volunteers monthly to deliver meal kits to 70-100 students at Shiloh Hills Elementary.
Amy Faucheux, senior territory manager for Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance, said the awards program recognizes independent agents’ dedication to their communities.
“All Lines Insurance is an outstanding example of how agencies can create lasting impact, and we hope their story inspires others to get involved,” Faucheux said.
