SPOKANE, Wash. — Firefighters are investigating multiple fires that broke out along Government Way near the Centennial Trail Saturday night, according to Department of Natural Resources.
Around 11 p.m. on August 2, fire crews responded to five fires, each between 3-5 acres, burning near Government Way and the Centennial Trail, about two miles south of Bowl and Pitcher Area.
DNR said Sunday morning that crews had contained the fires and were mopping up hot spots.
The cause of the fires are under investigation.
