MOSCOW, Idaho. — A man not wearing a seatbelt was killed in a crash Monday morning south of Moscow.
According to the Idaho State Police, a car driven by a 40-year-old male was traveling north on highway 95, swerved to avoid stopped traffic striking the side of a pick-up truck on around 10:38 a.m.
ISP said, the 40-year-old male sustained severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the pickup, a 65-year-old male was wearing a seatbelt and was uninjured.
The highway was closed for approximately 3 hours while agencies responded and investigated the crash.
Next of kin has been notified.
