Wednesday will be a beautiful day with lots of sunshine and average temperatures for mid-September.
Skies will be mostly clear throughout the day as temperatures rise from the 40s to the mid 70s. Through Wednesday night, overnight lows will drop into the 40s and low 50s across the region.
On Thursday, we’ll begin the day with more sunshine but see more clouds in the afternoon. A few showers and thunderstorms are possible south of I-90 on Thursday evening through early Friday morning.
These showers may produce gusty winds over the Camas Prairie and Central Panhandle Mountains along with lightning. It’s unlikely that Spokane or Coeur d’Alene will see anything more than a passing shower overnight. High temperatures will remain warm as we dry out again this weekend, in the 70s to low 80s through Monday.
