SEATTLE, Wash. – Seattle Mariners’ top overall prospect Kade Anderson will be the starting pitcher in this weekend’s All-Star Futures Game.
Anderson, the No. 5-overall MLB prospect, owns a 1.36 ERA, the best among all pitchers at any major or minor-league level.
He also leads the minors in opponents’ batting average (.160) and WHIP (0.69), and ranks second in strikeouts (108).
Right-handed pitcher Ryan Sloan joins Anderson as the other Mariners prospect in Philadelphia for this Sunday’s All-Star Futures Game, starting at 9:00 a.m. PST.
