ADAMS COUNTY, Wash. — An Othello man faces charges of unlawful firearm possession and malicious mischief after deputies connected him to multiple graffiti incidents on October 1st.
A citizen reported witnessing graffiti being applied to a fence near W. June Street and S. Andes Road. The citizen photographed the vehicle and provided deputies with a suspect description before the person left the scene.
Deputies responded to assist Othello Police with a separate graffiti report in progress at Taggares Park later that evening. Deputies discovered the same vehicle from the earlier incident had been present at the park.
Othello Police officers later located the vehicle within city limits and notified deputies.
Deputies identified him as 26-year-old Dario Ochoa Jr. of Othello.
Deputies discovered Ochoa was carrying a firearm.
Ochoa was arrested and booked into jail on charges of unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Malicious Mischief in the Third Degree.
