CHENEY, Wash. — The City of Cheney has lifted its emergency water restrictions following the successful repair and return to service of Well #3, according to a city announcement.
Beginning Monday, July 13, 2026, all customers may resume irrigation activities following the mandatory odd/even irrigation schedule available on the City of Cheney website at CityofCheney.org.
City officials encourage residents to continue implementing water conservation strategies and best irrigation practices.
Residents should monitor the City of Cheney website, Facebook and Instagram pages for periodic updates on water system status throughout the summer.
