KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash. — Eastbound and Westbound I-90 is now back open according to Kittitas County Sherrif’s Department.
State fire assistance has been mobilized to support local firefighters working to contain the fire in Kittitas County. The Vantage Highway remains closed due to downed powerlines.
Westbound I-90 is closed just east of the Vantage Bridge in Kittitas County because of fire activity and poor visibility.
According to the Washington Department of Transportation, there is no estimate when the interstate will be reopened.
