PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State and Idaho renew their historic rivalry for the next two seasons, locking in a Pullman visit on Friday, November 27, and a follow-up Moscow visit in the 2027-28 season.
The two rivals met every year (minus 2022) since 1950, a total of 280 meetings is among the most of any two programs in college basketball history.
The Battle of the Palouse, basketball edition, turns 120 this season, dating back to a 1906 Wazzu 28-11 win.
Recent history heavily favors the Cougs, but Idaho beat WSU in Pullman last season, 83-81. That win snapped six-straight Cougs victories.
The return visit to Moscow is the first since 2021, making it WSU’s second visit to the ICCU Arena; the first was Idaho’s fourth-ever game in the new stadium.
