HAYDEN LAKE, Idaho — A fire at a house in Hayden Lake quickly spread to the hillside on Friday evening.
According to Northern Lakes Fire Protection District, the fire happened at about 5:30 p.m. near Waverly Loop.
Firefighters saw a large column of smoke from the city of Hayden.
NLFD says a fire started above the home, which caused a response from the Idaho Department of Lands.
Firefighters worked to put out the wildfire while also controlling the fire at the home under construction.
The fire was successfully contained to the one home.
