KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash –Heads up to drivers heading west today! Westbound I-90 between Cle Elum and Ellensburg is closed due to a semi-truck fire.
It happened in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The Washington Department of Transportation posted pictures of the extensive damage, saying the road will be closed for several hours as they clear debris.
They will also evaluate the bridge for potential structural damage.
Traffic is being detoured at exit 106 to US 97.
