Okanogan County Emergency Management says the fire is currently 95% lined.

Firefighters are telling people who live on Valley Road in Brewster to be ready to evacuate.
According to Okanogan County Emergency Management, Level 2 (Be Ready) evacuations have been issued for a grass fire moving north from North Star Road and Valley Road near Schnibbe Riad.
Residents should be aware of their surroundings and take action as needed. Do not wait for door-to-door notification.
Emergency management says if you feel unsafe, leave now. Be cautious of emergency vehicles in the area.
