SPOKANE, Wash. — West Airport Drive is now open at Sout Spotted Road, according to Spokane Police Department.

Spokane police are investigating a fatal crash near Spokane International Airport Friday morning.
The crash happened on Airport Drive near Highway 2.
SPD says one vehicle was involved. One person died in the crash and three others were taken to the hospital. SPD says alcohol is a suspected factor.
People heading to the airport should continue along Highway 2 to take Flint Road as a detour. SPD expects the road to be closed for several hours.
