KENNEWICK, Wash. – The Spokane Chiefs (35-29-1-0) beat the Tri-City Americans (26-34-4-1), 7-2, in a playoff-clinching night.
Seven different Chiefs bagged a goal tonight, and winger Owen Martin led all point-scorers with four (one goal, three assists).
The win returns Spokane to the postseason, and they look to defend a Western Conference Championship series appearance.
The Chiefs close the regular season over the next week, starting with a game at the Seattle Thunderbirds this Friday, March 20, at 7:05 p.m.
