SPOKANE, Wash — A Spokane dog recently found himself in a sticky situation.
According to a Facebook post, a dog named Rusty got stuck between two buildings in the Riverside neighborhood last Saturday.
Rusty was suspended on a wire string between the buildings and couldn’t get out.
Firefighters from Station 1 stepped up to help.
Scout Olson was able to maneuver into the narrow space to reach Rusty with another crew member, helping with guidance from the roof above.
Rusty was freed from the wire and was guided to safety, where he was reunited with his owner.
