SPOKANE, Wash. β The Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture unveiled its latest exhibition: Clearly Indigenous: Native Visions Reimagined in Glass.
The exhibit features over 100 glass works from contemporary Native American and Indigenous Pacific Rim artists.
The exhibition has been traveling the country since 2023 and has made stops at prestigious museums such as the Smithsonian Museum of the American Indian in New York City.
Nearly 30 artists are featured in the exhibit, including some from right here in the Inland Northwest.
βWe have some of our regional and local favorites features in this exhibition,β said the MACβs Kayla Tackett. βA lot of people here are friends and fans of Joe Fetterson, Preston Singletary, Lillian Pitt, Dan Friday, so they are here and itβs really fun to have them in the show to know that this is a nationally and internationally significant exhibition with some of our regional artists.β
Clearly Indigenous: Native visions Reimagined in Glass will be open at the MAC through January 10.
