DEER PARK, Wash. — Deputies with the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office used a drone to locate a woman suspected in a DUI crash near Deer Park.
According to SCSO, deputies were called to N. Monroe Road and W. Antler Road for a reported solo crash around 5 a.m. Sunday morning.
Witnesses at the scene told law enforcement the suspect, 23-year-old Gabrielle Cristadora, crashed in her Ford F-150 and left the scene into the woods. The witnesses noted she appeared intoxicated and was barefoot in 30-degree weather.
Using a drone, deputies spotted a heat signature belonging to Cristadora and arrested her. She was taken to an area hospital for treatment and a blood draw.
According to the sheriff’s office, Cristadora was not booked into jail but cited for driving under the influence as she required additional observation at the hospital.
