SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The No. 11 Gonzaga Bulldogs (26-2, 14-1) beat the San Francisco Dons (15-14, 7-9) to earn a key Quad 2 win in the NET rankings and continue to stay atop the WCC standings.
Graham Ike, absent with a knee injury in the first meeting against the Dons this season, led GU with 22 points and five rebounds. He and three other starters played at least 31 minutes, as only two bench players recorded over three minutes of playing time tonight.
The Zags matched their win total from last season with tonight’s victory, completing the season sweep over USF with the 35th-consecutive win in the series.
Gonzaga returns home for a date against the Pacific Tigers this Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
