SPOKANE, Wash. — Parking kiosks and meters in the city of Spokane will be free on Monday, Feb. 16 because of the Presidents Day holiday.
The city of Spokane said while on-street parking meters and kiosks will not require payment, all parking rules, including time limits, still apply.
Garbage and recycling pickup will be on its normal schedule. City Hall will also be open.
The Spokane City Council meetings have been canceled for Presidents Day. Meetings will resume on Monday, Feb. 23.
Spokane Public Library branches will be closed on Presidents Day but the Municipal Court and Community Justice Services will be available by phone.
The Numerica Skate Ribbon and Looff Carrousel in Riverfront Park will be open on Monday.
