SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga Bulldogs shrugged off a slow start and turned it into a lopsided victory, suffocating the Loyola Marymount Lions 82-47.
After falling behind in the opening minutes, Gonzaga quickly settled in and took control with a steady offense and a relentless defense. The Bulldogs built a double-digit 33-19 lead before halftime and never allowed LMU back into the game.
Graham Ike led with 16 points, while Mario Saint-Supery added 13 and Jalen Warley finished with 12. The Bulldogs shot over 50% from the field, while limiting LMU to roughly 30%.
The Lions were held scoreless for long stretches as the Bulldogs extended the margin to more than 40 points in the second half.
Gonzaga will look ahead to host Santa Clara on January 8 at 8:30 p.m.
