Liberty Lake, Wash – Washington State Patrol identified the drivers who died in a head-on crash Saturday, December 27th near Liberty Lake.
W-S-P says just before 3 a.m. 20-year-old Michael Higley of Clayton was driving east on Trent/State Route 290 at North Harvard Road, and that he was driving too fast when he cross over the center line.
He hit, head-on, the car driven by 61-year-old Thomas Nafe, Jr. of Athol. Both drivers died at the scene.
