Spokane, WASH. — Seventeen teams moved in the new AP men’s college basketball poll out Monday morning. Arizona remained at #1 in the AP poll, while Michigan is still on top in the Coaches poll.
Gonzaga stayed at #7 in both polls, following a home win versus Campbell and Sunday afternoon’s win over Oregon in Portland. The Zags begin conference play on Dec. 28th at Pepperdine.
Arizona and Michigan are followed by Iowa State, UCONN, and Purdue to round out the top 5. Duke fell to #6 after losing to Texas Tech. The 9-3 Red Raiders moved from #19 to #15. The only team Gonzaga has beaten that is still ranked is #14 Alabama.
