PHILADELPHIA, Penn. – The Washington State Cougars (1-12) end their non-conference schedule with a loss at the Penn Quakers (8-3).
Eleonora Villa led WSU in scoring for the eighth time this season, scoring 21 points, one of only three Cougs with double-digit scoring.
WSU improved with fewer turnovers and played great perimeter defense, but they couldn’t get enough rebounds and didn’t lead in the second half.
The Cougs next enter WCC play, hosting the Pepperdine Waves on Dec. 28 at noon.
