Sports Illustrated gave the catcher the Breakout Star of the Year award.
Raleigh broke the MLB records for most single-season home runs by a catcher, switch-hitter and the Mariners franchise.
Colorado Buffaloes Heisman Trophy winner and now Jacksonville Jaguars two-way player Travis Hunter won the 2024 award.
