PULLMAN, Wash – Washington State University football fans will get to meet the team’s new football coach in an introductory press conference Tuesday.
WSU hired Kirby Moore last week. The Prosser, Washington native replaces Jimmy Rogers, who left for Iowa State after just one season.
Moore was most recently the offensive coordinator at the University of Missouri.
He comes from a legendary Washington football family.
Moore’s dad Tom led Prosser High School to 21 league titles and four state championships. Moore’s brother Kellen is the coach of the New Orleans Saints in the NFL.
WSU will introduce Moore Tuesday at 1 in the Alger Family Club Room at Gesa Field. It’s open to the public.
