The rain is mercifully ending, which should allow rivers to begin to crest today and recede through the weekend.
Plan Your Friday
Rain is finished for the time being. Most rivers in the region will crest today as a result. Even as rivers and streams begin falling, they will remain elevated due to prior rainfall.

Temperatures will remain extremely warm for this time of the year with highs in the 50s. Fog will turn to low cloud cover in the afternoon.
What We’re Tracking
It will stay warm through the weekend and mostly dry. Rain returns to the Cascades late Sunday afternoon and spreads into the Inland Northwest on Monday. It will be rainy and windy for the first half of next week. This storm won’t be as wet as the one we just got out of, but we’ll still have to watch for flooding on area rivers, since they’ll be higher than usual. Colder temperatures are looking more likely by late next week.
