GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — A fiery rollover crash killed a person east of the Vantage Bridge in Grant County Wednesday night.
According to Washington State Patrol, a driver was heading east on Highway 26 about 10 miles east of the bridge around 9:45 p.m.
WSP says the driver lost control, rolled off the road, and the driver was partially ejected. The vehicle landed 50 feet from the road in a field and caught fire.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.
WSP says the cause of the crash is under investigation and it’s unknown if drugs or alcohol were factors.
