SPOKANE, Wash. — The Washington State Patrol is asking for the public’s help in its investigation into a fatal collision that claimed the life of Sgt. Kenneth Salas.
According to the patrol, Salas was struck and killed in the line of duty. Investigators are seeking any witnesses who may have seen the crash, along with dash camera footage or information about the origin of the hay that was being transported at the time of the incident.
“We’re asking anyone who may have seen anything or who has relevant footage to come forward,” Detective Steve White said in a statement. “Even a small detail could be significant in understanding what happened.”
