SPOKANE, Wash. — A large amount of drugs, money, guns and explosives were uncovered during an investigation by the Spokane Police Department recently.
According to SPD, investigators served a search warrant at a home on North Freya Street.
The explosives were found to be a foreign military hand grenade, a bomblet that used to be part of a cluster bomb and a modified firework. Explosive specialists were called out to safely remove the explosives. The explosives were rendered safe at a separate location.
SPD says it also seized $255,000 in cash, 63 guns, including 3 guns reported stolen, a pound of fentanyl powder and around five pounds of methamphetamine.
The investigation is still ongoing and criminal charges are pending.
