SPOKANE, Wash. — If your child is in need of school supplies and other essentials before the school year starts, mark your calendars for Monday!
On August 18, Youth for Christ Spokane will host a Back to School Block Party and Resource Fair.
The event will provide students and families with free backpacks, school supplies, haircuts and hygiene supplies.
Attendees will also enjoy a free meal and the chance to win raffle prizes.
Several local organizations will also be present to offer helpful resources to help families prepare for a successful school year.
The event will take place from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Hillyard YFC (4603 N. Market Street).
