AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. — A Cheney man was hit by two pickup trucks and killed near Spokane Tribe Casino.
According to Washington State Patrol, 68-year-old Edward Goss was standing in the right lane of eastbound Highway 2 at Fairview Heights Road around 10 p.m.
WSP says a driver in a pickup truck was heading east when he hit Goss. Goss landed in the road and was hit by a second truck.
Goss died at the scene. WSP says the cause of the crash was Goss being in the road.
Drugs and alcohol are not suspected factors in the crash and, at this time, neither driver is facing charges.
