CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. — Law enforcement between Chelan and Kittitas Counties is reminding people to stay vigilant while the search for Travis Decker continues.
Decker is wanted for the kidnapping and murder of his three daughters.
The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office says search efforts have been done extensively on the Blewett Pass and Enchantments area, but there has still been no sign of Decker.
Search efforts included water teams, K9 teams, air support and people searching on foot.
The sheriff’s office says detectives continue to search for new leads, though the number of tips and leads coming in has decreased.
As bear hunting season begins in August, the sheriff’s office is asking people to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities, people or items they come across by calling 911 immediately.
The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to Decker’s arrest. Anyone with this information is urged to call 1-800-336-0102 or submit a tip online here.
Decker should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see Decker, call 911 immediately.
