GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — Deputies believe two people accused of assault and carjacking in Grant County are headed toward Spokane on Thursday afternoon, according to Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 2 p.m. on June 12, GCSO deputies responded to a reported carjacking on I-90 at Road U-Southeast, about 10 miles east of Moses Lake.
GCSO said two men, described as white, assaulted two women and then stole their gray 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche.
The women suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the carjacking.
GCSO said the Chevrolet was last seen around 2 p.m. headed east on I-90 from U-SE. The car’s license plate is D54618D.
