INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana Pacers rocked the Oklahoma City Thunder in the fourth quarter, roaring in front to win Game 3 and take a 2-1 NBA Finals lead.
Pacer Bennedict Mathurin scored a playoff-high 27 points off the bench, the Montreal native is one of three bench players this century to score 25+ in the Finals this century.
Indiana star Tyrese Haliburton added 22 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds, shooting 9-17 in his best game. Former Gonzaga Bulldog Andrew Nembhard only managed eight points, but he added four rebounds and great defense.
The other former Zag Chet Holmgren had his best Finals game, pushing for 20 points and 10 rebounds despite shooting 0-6 from deep.
Indiana hosts Oklahoma City in Game 4 coming up this Friday at 5:30 p.m.
