SPOKANE, Wash. — One person was hospitalized from an apartment complex fire in Spokane Saturday afternoon.
According to the Spokane Fire Department, a fourplex on Broad Avenue caught fire around 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Five adults and three children were living inside the building when the fire broke out. One adult was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
SFD said there is significant fire and water damage to the building. It has been deemed uninhabitable.
The Red Cross will be helping those displaced by the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
