AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. — As the days continue to get warmer, you might be in need of a new way to cool off your home.
Residents of Airway Heights could be eligible to receive assistance to purchase certain home appliances through the Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR) Program.
The program is funded by Washington State’s Climate Commitment Act and offers rebates to help households and small businesses in Airway Heights buy energy-efficient electric appliances and equipment.
Eligible appliances and services covered by the program include:
Electric heat pump water heaterElectric air source or ground source heat pump for space conditioning (can heat and cool spaces) Commercial or residential induction kitchen equipmentElectric heat pump clothes dryerElectrical service and panel upgrade Electric wiring
In order to qualify for the program you must:
Be an Airway Heights resident in zip code 99001Be on a low-medium income / make below 105% of the Area Median Income (The max income for one person in 2024 was $102,795.) Have a valid IDProvide a description of the desired equipment or proof of purchased eligible equipment Certain proof of income and residential document are also required.
