SPOKANE, Wash. — The Downtown Spokane Partnership and Visit Spokane invite the community to celebrate 509 Day on Friday, May 9.
Named after the region’s area code, the second annual event features more than 30 downtown businesses offering special $5.09 deals, retail discounts, and unique experiences.
“For those of us born and raised in Spokane, the 509 means a lot,” said Elisabeth Hooker, Vice President of Marketing and Programming for the DSP. “This day is about spotlighting what makes Spokane truly special.”
Participants can win prizes by scanning QR codes at participating businesses and collect free swag and t-shirts at the Visit Spokane Visitor Center in Riverfront Park between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m. while supplies last.
