SPOKANE, Wash. — There will be less free options for families in the Inland Northwest to do summer camps.
Due to federal cuts from the Department of Education, KSPS PBS announced it is cancelling its free summer camps.
KSPS says the Trump administration ended grants for the Ready to Learn initiative which helped fund kids programming and community resources for more than 30 years.
KSPS says it will its dedication to early education with free educational programming on TV and online.
