SPIRIT LAKE, Idaho — A Spirit Lake woman died in a crash near State Highway 54 and Coeur d’Alene Drive Friday night.
According to Idaho State Police, the 61-year-old woman was driving westbound on the highway when an SUV driving eastbound began to make a left turn onto Coeur d’Alene Drive and crashed into the woman.
The woman died at the scene.
The driver of the SUV, a 23-year-old man from Spirit Lake, was not injured.
ISP said alcohol is believed to be a factor of this crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
