BONNER COUNTY, Idaho — If you see smoke north of Priest River, don’t be alarmed.
The U.S. Forest Service will be conducting a prescribed burn in the Hardrock Project area near Jasper Mountain on Friday.
The burn will cover approximately 48 acres. These are conducted to promote local ecosystems and reduce wildfire risk.
The Bonner County Sheriff’s Office says smoke will be visible in the area and the public is asked not to call 911.
