SPOKANE, Wash– Spokane Police are investigating an overnight shooting that killed one person and injured another.
According to SPD, this happened around 3:15 a.m. at the Maverik at the intersection of Division and Montgomery.
SPD says multiple people called to report the shooting to 911. Officers arrived and found two people had been shot. One died at the scene and the other was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition.
SPD Major Crimes detectives are investigating.
SPD did not provide any suspect information.
Daily Habit Espresso coffee stand, which is in the Maverik parking lot, says it will be closed until the scene is resolved.
The Maverik reopened around noon.
