SPOKANE, Wash. — It’s almost time to break out the roller skates!
The Numerica Skate Ribbon in Riverfront Park is opening for the season on Friday, April 4.
Admission to the Skate Ribbon is free during roller skating season. You can bring your own skates, non-motorized scooters or skateboards.
If you don’t have your own gear, not to worry. Roller skate rentals are $5.95 and scooter rentals are $7.95.
Helmets are required by law. If you don’t have one of your own, you can rent one for free from the Skate Ribbon.
Bicycles and electric powered devices are not allowed on the Skate Ribbon.
Children 15 and under have to be accompanied by an adult. No more than two people can travel together.
Close toed shoes are required at all times.
