SPOKANE, Wash. — Starting this June, the Spokane Public Library will change operating hours at all of its locations.
The libraries will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday starting on June 8.
Spokane Public Library says this change simplifies opening hours and staff scheduling without reducing public access to the library.
Right now, library hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Meeting room reservations will still be available after hours to meet the community’s demand.
