SPOKANE, Wash. — Come help clean up the Spokane River in High Bridge Park!
The Earth Day river cleanup event hosted by Spokane Riverkeeper is scheduled for April 19 at 10 a.m.
Spokane Riverkeeper plans to clean litter and debris from the riverbanks and enhance the natural beauty of the river.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Supplies will be provided, just make sure you dress appropriately for outdoor work.
After the cleanup, you can also sip on a cup of coffee from PNW Express-go while learning about different organizations in the region that are working to protect the local environment.
