SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokanites interested in how the City of Spokane can continue to grow and thrive are invited to a special event on Thursday.
On March 27, Spokane City Council will host a free community event with urban development expert, Peter Kageyama.
Kageyama is the author of multiple urban planning books, including ‘For the Love of Cities: The Love Affair Between People and Their Places.’
He is a community development consultant and Senior Fellow with the Alliance for Innovation, a national network of city leaders dedicated to improving local government.
“Spokane is eager to benefit from Peter’s brilliance, ideas and insights into the city we cherish,” reads the event description.
The free event will take place from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on March 27 at the Spokane Central Library, 906 W. Main.
