SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — A fire broke out at a compound near the Spokane International Airport Thursday morning.
The fire broke out around 7 a.m. Thursday at a property on South Cheatham Road. The property had walls around it that contained multiple cars, motorcycles, motor homes and sheds.
According to Spokane County Fire District 3, there was limited access on the property which made it difficult to fight the fire.
Evacuations were issued Thursday for the people living on the compound. No one else in the community had to evacuate.
Fire officials said no injuries were reported in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Firefighters say to make sure your property has clear access for firefighters at all times in case of an emergency.
