SPOKANE, Wash. — Thousands of holiday lights in Cowley Park were revealed Thursday night as part of the 4 News Now Extreme Team’s ‘Making Spirits Bright’ display.
Volunteers from Avista, Horizon Credit Union, and more worked hard on the transformation of Cowley Park. The display is set up right outside the window of Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital.
For eight years, the Extreme Team has presented this event to bring joy to the kids and families celebrating the holidays in hospital.
This year, volunteers built a pathway of lights for visitors to walk along with long-standing favorites like the gingerbread house.
