SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — You can head to Balfour Park in Spokane Valley Friday night to celebrate the kickoff of the Christmas season!
The City of Spokane Valley is holding a Celebration of Lights Tree Lighting tonight at 6 p.m.
The event will include Santa and his elves, music by NW Festive Brass & Opportunity Elementary School Choir, hot cocoa and cookies.
People are invited to wear light-up holiday garb and follow Santa through the park for a walking light parade leading up to a tree lighting.
The city says parking will be available at Balfour Park and the Spokane Valley City Hall.
