CHENEY, Wash. – Six-straight losses now remain in the rearview mirror for Eastern Washington men’s basketball as they beat North Dakota 87-81 Wednesday night.
Andrew Cook led all scorers with 20 points, six rebounds and three assists, cashing in both of his three-point attempts. Emmett Marquadt and Nic McClain followed right behind with 16 and 15 points respectively.
Treyson Eaglestaff was nearly impossible to stop, as he had 24 points but tripped up with a team-high four turnovers to the squad’s relatively low nine total.
In terms of turnovers, Eastern only allowed eight and just four points allowed off said turnovers.
This win marks five-straight for the Eagles over the Fighting Hawks.
