FOUR LAKES, Wash. — One person was killed in a semi-truck crash and fire near Four Lakes Thursday morning.
According to Washington State Patrol, a tanker rolled and caught fire east of Salnave Road on eastbound I-90.
According to WSP, one person was found dead at the scene of the collision but it’s unclear if that person was the driver of the semi at this time.
WSP says the truck was carrying gasoline and diesel at the time.
Both directions of I-90 were closed but westbound is back open as of 9:45 a.m. One eastbound lane reopened around 12 p.m.
Troopers say icy conditions have caused multiple crashes in the area.
An eastbound detour is setup at Tyler through Cheney.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
